Moisés Linares becomes the new voice of Wizards and Capitals

Monumental Sports Network has enhanced the viewing experience for fans by expanding its alternative game broadcasts for the Capitals and Wizards. Following successful "ManningCast"-style experiments, the network introduced Spanish-language broadcasts for each team, with Moisés Linares as the the play-by-play voice leading the commentary.

These broadcasts, branded as "Monumental Deportes, premiered on Hispanic Heritage Night, Oct. 15, during the Capitals' game against the Vegas Golden Knights. Carlos Rossell will join Linares for Capitals games, while former Maryland basketball star Greivis Vásquez will provide color commentary for Wizards broadcasts.

Access to these broadcasts will be available on Monumental's platforms, allowing fans to enjoy multiple streams simultaneously. The initiative aims to enhance the sports experience without dividing the audience, responding to the bilingual needs of the community.
